  • https://www.mymemory.co.uk can do the same for £10.99.

But £12.99 is NOT a bad price for 32gb memory card...

I'd trust Aldi considerably more than I'd ever trust MyMemory!

Possibly, but your link is to a completely different item, and to MyMemory, which has achieved a certain reputation which might cause some of us to want to avoid using it.

Medion do not make memory, they are simply bought in bulk and branded like other makes e.g. Integral, Kingston, Transend, SanDisk etc. which come from the same manufacturing plant.

Only an idiot would pay an extra £5 to see the word "Medion" screen printed onto an identical spec memory card, but if the cap fits!

I have used MyMemory many times over the years and never ever had a problem but you can pay more for the same thing if you want.
Good for you. I have had problems, as have many others (Google it), and I no longer trust MyMemory.

Fortunately, there are many other options.

There both good deals. You expect to pay more in a shop for a memory card even if shop is called Aldi. espresso was just pointing out a better deal if you're prepared to wait and or may experience issues judging by some feedback. He may be right and not actually pinched someone else deal on hotukdeals and got sent the deal in email as he said, he was mealy pointing out you can save some money

I have not been on HUKD, as a regular customer of MyMemory, they email their current offers to me.

Yes, I got that email today as well. I've bought a few things from Mymemory and never had a problem.

You won't, because it's a brand that's restricted to Aldi and a few other dealers. Medion isn't a manufacturer itself - just a rebrander of generic stuff, although it is owned by Lenovo.
