I Need a cheap website that gets hits :-?

Hi,

I'm keen to set up a complementary fun website to my current 'online business card' hosted and domain bought/rented by 1&1.

I dont have a business yet, but its my reference point so i can communicate with peole helping me with video projects. anyway at the mo, i'm still not getting hits and i guess this is cos its in an editor, i did add meta tag thingies but it dont seem to work.

so now i'm setting up this new one. i want a very simple site and domain, couple pages, nowt advanced but use of pictures and video would be good. :D

Then i'll complement it with a forum (these seem to get hits easy enough).

Though i'm an AV technician by trade. I'm quite lost when it comes to options facing this, learn all the jargon and HTML and all that malarky (i have done a bit but thats it) or find friendly editing hosting software. I dunno!

Anyone got any good companies to go through? or any advice?

Please!

I'm quite confused! its a jungle out there :rotfl:
