parking eye again

My daughter has just received another letter from parking eye after an alleged offence on the 7th feb 2013,at Crayford tower retail park, that was 22months ago.im sure this letter today was first weve heard from the scumbags for months, and I assumed my appeal had been successful.
Its now a "letter before a county court claim" my daughter was driving and we told them this years ago, but they still sent the letter to me, so ive now requested a popla number in her name.
Anybody else had a similar letter, even after 22 months...
cheers Pauly.

they issue tens of thousands of court claims every year, so yes there will be others who have had them

you appear to have named the driver, so just read and follow the info in the NEWBIES sticky thread

If you do nothing they wil start court proceedings.

Write to them stating you have already appealed and have not had an answer. Send a copy of your initial appeal.

If they refuse to cancel the charge, write telling them you have already provided the drivers name and not to contact you again. Give your daughter's name and address again.

When she gets the letter, appeal, then if they reject, appeal to POPLA

  • If it's an LBA I think it'll be too late to stop it. Parking Lie will ignore anything that gets in the way. Especially the truth!!!

Oh my word - why didn't you simply follow the Newbies thread advice 'if you think it's too late to appeal, reset the clock by giving the name and address of the driver'. Even though you have replied already, write again - follow the wording suggested in the Newbies thread for naming the driver (not the 'appeal').

She then gets her own PCN and can appeal and win using our templates - also in the Newbies thread. You need to play this correctly to get her a PCN to appeal.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thanks coupon mad.I pestered the life out of the restaurant head office were we had our meal threatening to draw one of their staff to court, to appear in court as a witness to verify we were indeed dining out at their restaurant. Then a senior manager got involved and an email request to parking eye was raised to cancel the ticket.
I received an emailed copy of the request,so lookin good at the moment.I guess the food chain changed the way they work.why eat there with a threat of a 100 pound fine for parking, when you eat at a pub for example with no parking problems.

You should also reply to the LBA stating that the restaurant have requested the ticket be cancelled.

Don't just rely on PE to do nothing.

yes I was going to print off the emails from the restaurant and send to them via recorded postal mail.
I don't trust this lot whatsoever.
Not the tinyist morsel, they could always say they have not seen the restaurants email, and continue to pursue me in court.
