Nothing wrong with the actual quality of Dell machines, the one you had was simply "bargain basement" and as such that was reflected in components such as the incredibly slow CPU that it comes with (I've seen cheap smartphones with faster). No, I had removed all that stuff. It was a poor quality machine.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car

You could buy two moderately fast Windows based laptops for that money with bigger screens, faster hardware, and still have change.suicidebob wrote: »I would get a MacBook - http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/specialdeals/mac/macbook_pro/13Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car

You won't find a better Windows laptop for the same price, despite what some experts might like to think.
Most new laptops come with Windows 8 and that's rubbish. Windows 9/10 will likely be rubbish as well so it's a good time to get a Mac, and a better computing experience.0 -

Mine came with Win 8 and (with the addition of Classic Shell) it's quite usable.
I particularly like the rapid boot.0
