Their address, and principal place of business (according to the FCA register) is a flat in Borehamwood.
Doesn't inspire much confidence.....
We’ll never ask you for an upfront fee or request your debit or credit card details and our quote search service is free for you to use. Any examples of loan terms on our site are for illustrative purposes only.

I have contacted them (TrueLoan) via their website, I suspect that the company that called me are using their details and I thought they should know, as of yet they have not repliedDebt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
Wow, there are some really nasty people on this forum. Talk about kicking people when they're down.
Paying via BACS was probably the least worst option (apart from not paying them of course), much better than giving them your card detailsChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -

You're wrong on this one. Paying them by BACS means there's much less chance of the payment being returned.0 -
Thanks stator my own stupidity in this matter just goes to prove that everyone can be taken in a moment of vulnerability
suicidebob There maybe less chance of getting my money back, as you say, but at least they cannot raid my card when they feel like itDebt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
My response was a reply to there being lots of posts on here about this scam, I failed to find any in 4 pages.
I only intended to warn others desperate for help when the High Street is shut to them, that is all
Do you mean like these 2 threads on page 1 of the loans board?

No amount of warnings seem to stop desperate people from giving money to these companies to try and get a loan, when even the likes of Wonga won't touch them, without reading the terms and conditions.
Do I think the people running these companies are praying on desperate people....absolutely. You should NEVER have to send money by BACS or debit card in order to obtain a loan.0 -

I have just heard from True Loans, in a lot of spiel about responsible brokers it goes on to say
"We have been notified about few issues, where someone is contacting customers like you; claiming they are from TrueLoan.co.uk and asking for advance deposit to provide loan .
Please don't make any such payments based on their call, and if you can contact your bank to stop any payment towards them. We have found two numbers they are calling people from 01515289188 and 01515283375.
We have found one of their bank details :
HSBC 58175829
Sort Code 40-02-00
We will be complaining to the respective authority as well."Debt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
That email doesn't sound very official....0

No I have to say it is odd and oddly worded
They required a screen shot of the payment!!!!!Debt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0
