I forgot to add that recently I bought some false security cameras online which were cheap (£6 for 4) and have put one of these up outside my house on the wall. It has batteries in and flashes a red light every so often.
I also trailed a black cable from under this so that it looked like it was connected to the electric supply.
I couldn't afford the real thing so hopefully this may make someone think twice just in case.
The only problem is having to get up on ladders to change the batteries (and hope no one is watching)
