That was my thought too.

In the old days we could all afford to be less jaded and cynical, but loads of people trying to kick off some sort of viral marketing campaign will start with the tried and tested "hey everyone, I'm new here but my friend recommended this great thing and I'd love you all to try it and give a lot of feedback!"

And then a day or so later another brand new member signs up to the same forum, "hey, I like and use this regularly! It's almost toooo good! When they introduce [killer feature] it will be so good that I won't be able to trust myself with it on my phone, not to use that feature all the time!!!"

Obviously we get genuine new joiners all the time, but it can be tough to sort the wheat from the chaff sometimes

Hi TCA,

Think the term naive only scratches the surface of my knowledge on stocks! However have to start somewhere and getting advice from people smarter then me seems to be a good start, so I don't lose my money!
