Post Election Stock Market Performance ?

Whats the stock market likely to do over the coming 3-6 months ?

Statistically it does not look good suggesting falling prices.

Its a tough call... but I ain't giving up on the bull that easily... and I still see new highs, though if it does fall and break recent lows than that looks very dire in deed.

I think it will definitely rise, then fall, then rise again (yawn).

Of course it could improve after St Ledgers day (is this in September?)

As long as it rises more than it falls ;)

There are lots of reasons why stocks should rise, i.e. low PE, good dividend yeild.

Then again there are lots of reasons why stocks should fall, i.e. high crude, USA debt mountain, and slowing economy.

Given that the news and stats are priced into the market and given that the market is in a bull phase since the June 03 low... The scales are still tipping in favour of an upwards trendign market.
