    How long is the gap?

I left the NHS after 14 years due to ill health. I had the best part of two years on the sick before I finally jacked. I then took another year to get straight before I started to look for work. I've never been unemployed since

So I never got back into administration, but hell I've enjoyed working since :)

Look at different types of work, look at part time, look at a junior post in something you have an idea you may like

The only unemployable people are those that pigeon hole themselves and refuse to look " outside the box"

What jobs have you had that you have enjoyed?

Bar work, unsocial hours but great fun if you enjoy the pub environment.

Market research. I've worked for many companies and had a huge diversity of assignments. From interviewing people in their homes, to counting special offers in supermarkets. Loved every minute

Shop work. Love the madness of it and the fact that work ends when you clock out

The past five years I've been working as a chef for a small bar/ restaurant. Never cooked professionally before and I was taught on the job. Now I'm more then confident running the kitchen

And now on top of that I'm training to be an assistant manager for a charity shop

I've also in the past done private and corporate cleaning and leaflet delivering

I will do anything really. The only job I've refused to consider was working in a florist.

Once you have a foot in a door, any door, it's easier to find employment. May not be your dream job but a job opens more doors
