Buying a flat but just been told by friend one of flats in Block is an 'adult' studio

  • Had another chat to neighbours and pretty clear they aren't aware of what flat is used for I even asked specifically about that flat and if they'd had any issues with them.

    Thanks to everyone who replied and I think I'll just keep what I know to myself knowing if it does become an issue I can pass what I know onto the management company

    A business license is required for the Adult Studio. This kind of license will never be issued in a residential block like yours. The Adult Movie Studio is a multi-million pound or dollar industry. There is something missing here:
    1) Perhaps you got the wrong information.
    2) The Adult Studio (supposed) is operating illegally.
    3) Most probably this thread is for wind-up purpose (trolling).
  • Im not sure about legality tbh but the lease does have no business clause hence why Im fairly sure if it became an issue it could be dealt with

    as for being a windup I was expecting someone to say that eventually (If I'd read it from anyone else I'd be equally as sceptical) and I'd have had much better sleep over past few days if it were.

    From what I can see its just a one man band filming various scenes from glamour to hardcore in his flat or the models place and selling them via the internet. I downloaded a copy of the 2013 accounts and million dollar they arent
