    It was very variable, because some was just a skim and other bits were entirely new, on external walls. Also, although all rooms were unheated and ventilated in daytime, some were next door to the kitchen, where we had an Aga going 24/7.

    So, from memory, some places took under a week and others more like 3 weeks to be fully dry.

    Three weeks i see...it took me 30-35 days...

    I use Dr. Fixit Crack X Shrinkfree, an acrylic based specially formulated product used to fill the surface cracks in plastered walls internal or external for cracks of up to 10 mm width.
