Search for Property Developers

I live in Cumbria (Southern Lake District) and put my house on the market in March at what I consider to be a realistic price. Although I have done all the usual smartening up such as coats of paint, my problem is that I do not have the wherewithall to spend on putting in shiny new kitchens, gas fires, new heating system, blah blah. I am a single parent and do not have the money or resources to spend on the "extras".

My house has a view of die for but can anyone tell me how I can attract a property developer to come up here???????? My house is perfect for a developer and I am open to offers .......... so has anyone got any suggestions on how to persuade a city slicker that this would be the perfect retreat for him/her?

I would expect the Estate Agent to do just that in order to earn his fee.

    Are you using an Agent?

Lower your realistic price to a more realistic price.
  • Thanks for the response and Yes, I am using an agent ..... but it is a local chain, nothing reaching down south.

I could drop my price but I am already asking below what I would like to ask. In comparison with prices of other houses in the area, I am asking a good price!

    Thanks for your comments though.
