Over Limit Question

Hi
In all liklihood you WILL be charged. I went over for a couple of hours and then paid. Barclaycard did charge me. However, I called them up to query it and after a bit of threatening to close the account they agreed to take back the 12 pound charge. However, if you max your card out and don't pay it off each month then this type of threat might not hold much clout. It is deffinitely worth a try though.
Ihope this helps.0 -
If I've used my Tesco MasterCard in the past and later on I've made a Faster Payment from Lloyds Bank before the pending payment is cleared on the account then usually after 10pm the next day the repayment I've made has appeared via their online banking service. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

I suggest you call your bank and explain - usually, if you have been with the bank for some time, they will waive the charges.0

My account is not technically over limit yet as the transaction is pending...
I went over my credit limit today ...
Anyway, you will not incur over credit limit default fees unless your account goes over the credit limit.
I think what was trying to be explained to you was that if the pending transaction gets posted to your account before the credit is, which as you have been advised, the credit could take 2 working days to be posted, you might find you have taken your account over it's credit limit.
If the amount is still showing as pending, then do a faster payment credit
(In fact it might be worth doing one anyway to limit the amount of time you might be in breach of your credit agreement)0
