  • The mis selling issue refers to (mostly) door to door salespeople, who had misleading documents that encouraged people to believe they would save more money than they actually were (if indeed they were able to save at all). I doubt very much this happened to a small business.

    It's hard to give meaningful advice without knowing more of your circumstances. In what way do you think you were mis-sold?

    There is pretty much no protection. It is signer (or answerer of the telephone) beware. Business contracts are long and you will be held to them. You also have to be very careful to the terms to avoid accidentally renewing them even after completing an initial tie.
