Hi All

After moving into a house with no thermostats other than TRV's we are getting Hive installed today. So how do I manage the boiler control and TRV settings to maximise any potential energy reduction?

It would have been more sensible to research the operation of the system before buying it. Ask the installer.

I was merely looking for someone who had some experience with the device which may have been useful to those purchasing the unit. Some new users such as myself may have benefitted from some tips from people's experience.
