Because 70,000 of them don't know their ar5e from their elbows.

Amateur BTL is the catalyst for many of societies ills. Not directly, but indirectly. People on low wages not being able to afford a home has a huge knock on effect on the country as a whole.

I accept that BTL bashing is the latest sport taken up by those who would otherwise bash the disabled or people of other races, or women, or the Irish or the old - if it was not for laws banning them. BUT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, BTL is not the catalyst for many of society's ills.

There are many things that are bad in the world. Can we give BTL bashing a rest.

    :)

#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided

#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now

#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing

Damn, I misread this totally, and thought youd written

"BTL- Jeremy Kyle show on now"

now that WOULD be worth seeing! :D

Scarily enough I read it as that too, I was just about to berate GG for not getting a proper job, when I realised it was R2.:rotfl:
"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.
  • I wish they would give Mark Radcliffe a proper slot during the day on radio 2. Thought he was great covering for Steve Wright last week, and has infinitely better music taste too. He even refused to play certain songs from the radio 2 'A-list' on the grounds that they were clearly crap!

He is great in the evenings, currently sharing a two-hour (8-10 p.m.) slot with Stuart Maconie, though times like now when one of them is covering for someone else, they go solo.

    Sorry for going OT.
