For the love of MSE (second makeover of the website)

I have been using MSE for sometime and the recent website makeover was fantastic :T.

However I feel that there is a lot of love (and tailoring) for the newbies but nothing for the Mad Mavericks i.e.

> Users who are already enrolled on the distribution list, they would not like to see the messages to enroll into the distribution list

> Who already know about Martin and this website, they would not like to see "Who is Martin Lewis", "What is this site about" everytime they see go to the website etc...

After doing some research myself, I think I may be able to put together something which will be useful.
