Red Letter Day - price different for paying using a gift voucher

I have a £30 gift voucher for Red Letter Day and I went into their website and saw a Segway experience reduced from £75 to £43. I was more then willing to purchase and cover the additional £13 cost, however when I go to redeem my voucher the cost of the experience is £75 and the additional extra I have to pay is £45.
You can clearly see on their website the advertised price is currently reduced to £43 so how can I be penalised and have to pay full price simply for using a pre-paid gift voucher?

Have you tried contacting them to see what they say?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

I have to wait until Monday morning now to speak to them as I only discovered this issue after customer service closed tonight. I thought I'd see if anyone had any advice as to how I could approach this. Ideally now all I want to do is return the gift voucher and hopefully get a refund (for the purchaser).0 -

Thank you. I did read that after I found out the experience I wanted to book was no longer discounted as advertised on the website. Seems a bit unfair considering the gift voucher was purchased for the sole reason of this one experience clearly showing at the reduced cost of £43.
It's amazing what companies can hide in the T&Cs.
On Monday I will be contacting Red Letter Day with the sole purpose of de-activating the gift voucher in the hope it can be returned and refunded. It is useless to me and the purchaser now that it can't be used for the purpose it was bought without an extra cost of £32 over what was already expected.0 -
When purchasing the voucher this is part of the information given:
Discount codes cannot be used with this offer.
Other Info
Total flexibility means the gift card can be used to book any experience. Choose something higher in price and simply pay the difference or retain account credit if you pick an experience that costs less. The selection available is subject to change.
I'm not using a discount code... The price is reduced on the website. The other info says I can book ANY experience, it makes no mention that if that experience is reduced it will revert to full price if paying with a gift voucher.
This gift voucher was purchased for one purpose only - the Segway experience costing £43. I now have a £30 gift voucher but in order to get the experience I want I have to pay an additional £45. It just doesn't seem fair!0 -

Why didn't they just give you cash rather than buy a voucher for only one purpose? Seems a really odd way of doing it. Anyway the terms are clear.
Did you get some sort of discount in the gift card? Otherwise it makes no sense to buy a gift card instead if just buying the experience0 -
Update: they booked the experience over the phone for the £43 advertised price, using the £30 voucher and an additional cost of £13.0
