Am sure it was really quick, maybe a week. Entered a few without knowing what I was doing or knowing forum rules or anything, then got a call from a radio station saying I might be on air to answer some questions. They called me back saying I was going on air. I thought it was some sales trick and regretted entering comps. I got all 3 (re Ghostbusters!) right but still didn't believe them - until eventually deliveries came of... TV, blu-ray player, surround sound speakers, etc. Prob at least a grand's worth. Gobsmacked ain't the word. A few other good wins immediately after got me totally hooked! Was in 2009.

I have been for a year and a half now and I don't know if its the ones I am choosing or I am just not doing it enough, but I haven't won anything yet. The person who got me onto this site has won though. Mostly baby stuff.

And if I had won anything I would have been struggling to actually post how I won it! I only just made an account. I mostly lurked on here.
  • I won my first prize before I started comping, and that's what started me off! After joining here, probably about 3 weeks.

Best prizes have been a hotel stay in London (even though I live here already, it was such a welcome change) with a free meal, £1000 hair extension service that I had my consultation for the other day, tickets to Camden Rocks and a Carnaby Street beauty/fashion goody bag.

Mine was after about 2 months and it was tickets to bbc good food show, I've won 4 prizes so far and they've all been competitions I've entered and forgot about so it was always a lovely surprise to win and its spurred me on to keep going. I only enter for things I want or that I could give to family or friends, keep going im sure your luck will change soon x.

Mine was about 3 weeks after starting, and I won 3 that week! My biggest win I've had was a spa day at a luxury hotel for 6 people worth £600! And this was about 5 weeks after starting.

I've been comping for just over a month, only little wins so far, the most useful one was between a roasting tin (not arrived yet) and a garden window box as I've just started growing my own veg so that'll be handy (they send the seeds and bulbs when they need to be planted mostly spring/summer time so not had this yet either) :)
Wins so far :- Mousemat, Football, Chocolate Bar, Gravy and Fat Separator, Roasting Tin, Window Garden Box, a Basket of Hyacinths and a £1000 gift voucher for Very!!!
Massive thanks to all who post!

I have not had a big win for a year or so, it must be somebody else's turn ;)

A long dry spell doesn't put me off, I know it CAN happen if you keep at it

  • Got my first win after about 4 weeks of comping. Was only a vimto mug but it is doing me proud at work. Had 5 wins so far but the best is tickets to legoland discovery centre and sea life centre. Going to be 2 epic days out with my kidlets!
    New start.... positive vibes
