Lenient Credit Card Company?

Hi, would be grateful for some help/advice. I would like to get an additional credit card (currently have Citi Card & Capital).
Unfortunately I had a CCJ registered against me in Jan 2002 for £446. For some reason it only appears on my Equifax report and not Experian. All the other information recorded is positive (lots of "0"s!).
I have recently been refused finance from MFI & Homebase for a new kitchen. However, I've also got credit from Mercedes-Benz finance for a car recently without a problem and also 0% nothing to pay for some furniture.
Can anyone recommend a credit card company that might be worth applying to?
Thanks in advance for your help!

capital one do one apparently if your credit is a bit iffy but i think that the interest reate is higher than the normal ones as they have to cover the risk etc

Allegedly Aqua, Capital One, Barclaycard and Vanquis - But as I managed to be declined by Vanquis despite a reasonable credit rating, nothing guaranteed. Spooky, I typed 'Aqua' and they appear on my TV with the brilliantly awful 'Barbie Girl'.

Come on Barbie, Let's go party.........

You might want to look at Martin's article about which providers use which credit reference agencies http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cards/credit-reference and pick one which uses Experian only.
