Just spent 2 hours on the phone to loss adjuster, builder, flood recovery and insurance and got absolutely nowhere.
Builder cannot do anything as he is waiting for loss adjuster. Loss adjuster out of office until Wednesday next week and they think he may have my file with him. Insurance haven't got a clue about anything, just left me on hold for 25 mins. They also cannot find the file. Flood recovery has sent 2 skip to the wrong address. The skips have been filled by somebody and it all my fault for not telling them the skips had not arrived. I was at work when they arrived and am living 10 miles way.
Insurance just phone back, my case has been passed on to the parent company. Got another ref number.
The loss adjuster sent his report in on the 19th June, 28 working days later and Im still waiting. I have had nothing from the insurance.
Hope those affected have a better time claiming than Im having.
