Car insurance company reviews?

My car insurance needs renewing soon and in the past have generally found a good deal by flipping between 3 well known companies.
This time the cheapest are companies I've never insured with before (swiftcover, prestige, churchill for instance) and was looking on the net for reviews and found wildly conflicting ones.
I know review sites often can be filled with reviews that are not legit, anyone know of a review site that is guaranteed people who are actually giving a legit review?

Thanks.

insurance reviews sites are difficult , often skewed

Personally of those three, my preference would be churchill , as the company I trust the most, but that is not much more use than a review site...

No review site can be 100% accurate. If you ran a company and someone left you a bad review wouldnt you want to correct the balance?

Try buying an iron from Argos just be reading the reviews.

    1. Good iron, very light

    2. Poor iron, very heavy.

So is it good or poor and is it light or heavy?

Yes I understand personal preference/experience (not sure if Argos is validated though ...), but I think there are review sites that contain validated customer reviewed submitted via a provided access code or unique email link. I think reevoo does this and a couple of others. I;ve found on other products these give a good general guide and so are useful.

Parking Trouble - I will look at those, though they are not customer reviews but worth taking into account.

    Thanks.

How can a 3rd party company validate my sales? Or know whether its genuine customers or a staff member paid to scour the internet for poor reviews.

Post about some companies on here and its odd how quickly it will get spotted and a satisfied customer will join to say your wrong and they are the best company in the world.

I find reviews are only really useful for ironing out scam companies and the like.

I've never heard of prestige but Churchill and Swiftcover are both established brands and are going to be sufficient if you want the cheapest price.
