                    Hi
I am really trying to help my really busy daughter. She is a manager in a pub and is desperate to lose some weight and really get her life under control.
As you can imagine it is really hard in a pub environment.
She manages breakfast and lunch every day.
I am taking her in a low point evening meal every day --- poor thing there are only so many salads and baked potatoes she can eat and at the end of long hours she hasnt got the energy to start cooking and counting points.
Could anyone help me by listing a lot of snacks/treats with their points value so that I can build in some variety to help her through those hungry tiomes of days when it is so easy to pick at the chips etc.
Obviousy I am aware of the virtues of plates of crudites and weightwatchers treatts but they are so expensive
Ideas please

            Hi,
Why not go on the Weightwatchers website, they've got forums on there with loads of ideas from the posters. Plus they have recipe ideas, it's an absolute god send when you're doing weightwaters!
The no-point soup is nice, make a huge batch and freeze it (MSE style!), have it with some nice bread. Or how about making a veggie curry, chilli or casserole. Miss out the meat and it's almost point free!
Umm let me think and I'll come back to you!DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

            Thanks for your help already.
I am not so stuck as to what to cook for the evening meals as I have a coule of books that friends have lent me What I really need help with is the snacks that she can have when feeling peckish or to stop diving into the chips on a low moment.
I was thinking of making up little packs of treats with the points value on to encourage her.
 Anyone got any god savers?0

grrrrr I just typed a long message and lost it!!!
Sorry I should've read your post better!!
Crispbreads, ryvita with low fat philly, pineapple chunks, crab sticks, raisons, quavers are only 1.5 points a bag as are squares and chipsticks, curly wurlys are 2 points, celery with humous, dried fruit such as apricots, pears and peaches, low fat yoghurt with sugar free jam? Ummm I'll keep thinking..DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

            Hi
I second the Ryvita's with low fat cream cheese and cucumber or a little bit of relish.
I also munch on the large size Snack A Jacks, when I've got the munches, the chocolate ones or caramel are nice!

How many points are the snack a jacks please0

Think Snack a jacks are different points depending on the flavour, caramel are 2.5 points (last time I looked!)
 French fries are 1.5 points
More OS might be a batch of low fat muffins or flapjacks they are in the recipe books usually 2 - 2.5 points each
Pointed tubs of different salads in the fridge that she can mix and match eg low fat potato salad, hummus, pasta and rice salad, couscous, cottage cheese, baby tomatoes etc
no point or low fat cup a soups are also easy 'on the run'
Bananas vary between 1 and 2.5 points depending on size and filling
Just a thought but if your daughter is having breakfast lunch and evening meal and hungry in between perhaps a look at how many points per meal? It might be worth looking at portion size too and what time she eats.
I find that a large glass of water often helps as it is easy to think we are hungry when we are actually thirsty, sounds daft but it is true!
Best of luck to your daughter!
