voluntary Redundancy

Hi, I am about to take voluntary redundancy. My current salary is £35000 & my wife earns £12000. I am completely changing jobs & have managed to find another job but paying a lot less £18,500, so this will mean our combined household income will drop from £47000 to £30500. We have two children age 5 & 12, does anyone know if we would be able to claim any top up working tax or other benefits with the big drop in income? Thanks

You might be better off posting this on the Benefits and Tax Credits forum, unless you have a query about your redundancy terms and payments. Regulars on that forum are likely to be able to answer your question.0
