My son has been on my PC yesterday and ever since i have been getting loads of dam Ads on here and others as well.
i have done a scan and nothing is showing up so how can i get rid of them?
i have also looked to see if son has installed something he should have not done but again cant see anything.
The Ads seems to be from Ads by speeditup.
please help.

What have you scanned with and what OS are you running?
It is likely that your son downloaded a program which had this ad thing bundled with it
If you use CCleaner you can look under tools and there it lists programmes by the date installed http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/ccleaner_slim.html
If you google ads by speedit up there are a number of tips for getting rid of it eg

My OS is Windows 8.
in the end i reset my PC and that got rid of it all but by doing that had to set PC up again.
since doing that its been fine.
i found out that son downloaded something to watch a DVD on pc as he put in a DVD and nothing happened so he is now banned for it!!!!0
