Cooker Hood Does Not Work

Hello,
I have a Baumatic 100.2SS Cooker Hood which has stopped working after two years. The extractor and the lamps do not work at all. There is no sound and it looks completely dead. It is powered off a 13A fuse spur which I have swapped with another which I know works and it still fails to work (so it cannot be the fuse). I am not sure if it is the power, the motor, the hood switch or the circuits.
What do you think is the problem?

Baumatic. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

If none of it works but the supply is ok, then it will be a switch or a bad connection problem. Not the sort of thing that can easily be diagnosed on a forum.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I changed the switch in the hood, still no difference and also checked the wiring connections to make sure none of the wires had come loose. Nothing in the lamps or extractor.
Is there an easy and safe way to test that there is power from the incoming power cable? When I switch the spur switch on, there is a light on the spur switch itself which comes on (not sure how reliable that is)?0 -
The Baumatic web site mentions a "safety cut-out". It's possible that it has failed or tripped.

If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
