Help disabled badge fine on private owned parking company

I'm a support worker who parked a mini bus on private parking land. I had previously parked on this private parking land and checked that payment was not required. I therefore used the same parking months later when taking residents out. I received a fine, I challenged this verbally when I returned to the vehicle to be informed new owners now state that blue badge must pay. No signage to state this, do blue badges normally pay on private parking ?
Thank you for any advice this fine is more than I earn and is down to me to pay as I parked there.

Disabled Blue Badges don't apply on private land and have about as much standing as Blue Peter Badges. Extra consideration such as allowing more time for disabled users must be given, but if there is a parking charge this is normally in the form of (say) an extra hour parking for no extra charge.
If this was indeed on private land then you have not received a fine and you do not need to pay it. If you have a windscreen ticket you can appeal yourself using the information in the Sticky thread for NEWBIES. If there was no windscreen ticket then one will be sent to the owner/keeper.
Do Not Pay, Do Not Ignore. You may however want to offer the landowner the original parking fee as a gesture of goodwill in order to get them to cancel any ticket from a PPC.I married my cousin. II find it difficult to believe that, although payment was required, there were no signs to that effect. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
