Apcoa parking ticket in Bristol temple meads with no VRM on it

Options
Got a ticket in the short stay carpark outfront. Went to pay it via the url provided on ticket. payments.apcoa.com. Asks me to input the ticket number and Vechile registration mark.... thats when I noticed that the ticket doesnt have my vrm on it. Just blank where it says VRM:

So input the Ticket number and my Reg anyway... says theres no data... so cant pay that way.

Rang the 0800 number on the ticket... Dead. gets 2 digits into the number and incorrect dial tone?

!!!!!!?

May question is. If they havent got the VRM of the car, can they contact me?

The PPC can apply to the DVLA to get the name and address of the keeper. Wait till see if you get an NTK whilst you read the NEWBIES thread on how to deal with this should the PPC take it further.

Never ever 'phone a PPC and never tell them who was driving.

  • Yeah. But how will the DVLA know who I'am without a VRM?

Exactly. And the ticket is not pofa 2012 compliant so only the driver is liable...and you wont be telling them who that is.

They will only know if the PPC had an "enforcement ossifer" :rotfl: on site who recorded it, or an unfit for use ANPR camera that recorded it.

  • @isibbot - they will have a photo of your car with the VRM - unless they failed to take one.

So do expect a ntk to arrive.

I assume therefore you did not pay for parking?
  • And even if they did magically update their records, you'll not be paying anyway - not now you've found this forum. You'll fight it and win at POPLA if necessary.

Luck was shining on you today. Just think of the money you'll be saving.
