I renewed my car insurance policy with Prudential total cost was £269.85 and received £130 cashback into my Quidco account :j. I am so glad I found this site and all the posters who give you great information.

    Many Thanks Everyone

I took out a car insurance policy with Prudential through Quidco earlier this month at a premium of £172, with £130 cashback which tracked and validated within a day or so. Also Prudential are including Green Flag recovery and rescue breakdown cover free until 31/10/07 so basically free insurance.
    Yay :T

Found Quidco thru MSE. Did my car insurance with the Pru. Brilliant £130 cash back plus free breakdown. Great! As you do, told a freind and then did hers on my Quidco account as she does not have one. Is this OK, or is it just for your own use. The cashback went to her, not a way of making money for me!!
Next I want to try a free trial film rental. But everyone seems to have horror stories about cancelling. Is it easy? Is there a fool proof plan? Is it worth the hassle? and if so who is the best?

Officially, you are not supposed to put other peoples insurances through your quidco however, I did this for my dad before realising......It tracked, validated and paid!
This may be a fluke and I'm not sure now that I know, I'd do it again and risk having my account closed!
If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

    My way is Atkins;)
  • Advise Please: I never normal bet but wanted to try Quidco for the cash back to see if it works. Decide to try Paddy Power. Place a £10 wager to earn my cash back a day after I setup my account through Quidco. I always go through Quidco to Paddy Power. Paddy Power then gave me a £20 free bet which it says on Quidco you will not get. I placed this bet and both came in last night. I spent £10 and I’m up now by £46.27. :j :j

So will Quidco track even though I didn't place a bet until the day after I setup my account? (I did deposit £10 on the day the account was setup)

Do I leave the money in the account to try and make it track or should I run with the money and be happy with what I have got? ;)

If it does track should I leave the money in until Quidco has validated it, received it or paid it?

Cant' believe I won, normally I dont' win anything

oh no i couldnt do that!!
id forget when to cancel! i've got my spreadsheet plus reminders on my outlook calender and my fone calender. so im good to go. i've made just over £52 in two days.

my spreadsheet is very basic. its just got like 6 columns, but all the info i need is on there. i've seperated links and subscriptions.

i havent had the guts to join/try any of the gambling sites yet, im too scared of losing money. i dont think iv ever gambled before - well i think iv played the lottery a couple times.

Has anyone else had problems with Which? tracking. I'm coming to the end of my free trial, and it hasn't tracked.

signed up for the free trial about a week ago and still hasn't tracked....
  • I started reading all the posts but sooo many! I was wondering whether anyone knew for the galabingo did you need to spend your £10 on Bingo as I just went in and spent it on the slot machines!!!

It's not the end of the world if so as they were fun (promise not addicted!) and won £28 so I am covered for my £10 anyway! But would like to know about the £30 for quidco.

Another thing I took out a 3 mags for £1, how do I cancel that if I need too? I might stick with it though as it was a bargain!

I seem to be getting more tempted by shiney things in Quidco... oh dear lol! :rotfl:
