  • Thanks lemontart. Some of these things appear too good to be true - I'll give them a try.

  • New to MSE and Quidco. I've tried the Gala Bingo £30 but after I managed to lose my £10 quite quickly I felt happy that I would still be £20 up. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to have tracked so I'm having to do an enquiry. Now I need car insurance and have checked with Prudential who have given me a good of price of £184 but I can't believe they will give me £130 cashback. I can see that a couple of people have used Pru before but I'm a bit sceptical - will this actually go through?

Why can't I be more confident?

I know what you mean seems a bit too good to be true! We used Pru for car insurance a couple of weeks ago and yes it has tracked. Hoping the money goes through OK. But the quote was good and free green flag breakdown too. So it was a fab deal even without the cash back. The way I'm looking at it. The cashback will be a big bonus if it goes through and I have no reason to think it won't.

    Shoppy :T

I have been using Pru, Screen trade and others for myself and the wife for the last year and so far I have had fully comp ins with protected NCD on both our cars for free (effectively) and made enough money on top to cover the tax and MOTs of both cars with a fair amount of fuel as well.
Basically apply then as soon as it is paid cancel and use another company. if the policy costs £200 then you should get about £160 back credited to your card but then you will still be getting £100+ via quidco as the company have no idea you used them in the first place:beer:
The only down side is you don't get anymore NCD but we have full no claims anyway.

    I love Quidco..................................
