Booked up our hotel for our holiday last night, Used Expedia, fantastic, thats another £10 off at least!!!!
Also, looked at OH's account and his RAC insurance has tracked twice at £70 each, giving him a total of £140, how should we go about informing Quidco of this? It must be an error somewhere!!!Saving for a lovely summer holiday. Will it be Evesham or Egypt???0 -

October 3rd, 2007 Quick note to our Quidco members
.......
On this note, can we also emphasise that if you ever have problems with the rate or cashback to please contact us so that we can sort it out for you. Our interest is in taking care of any problems and making sure that members do get the cashback they deserve. In this case quite a few people phoned up the merchant instead of talking to us - which only resulted in a lot of confusion. So please, remember the cashback is coming from us so if there’s a problem we’re the ones who can sort it out!.....
I can't believe they say this. They wont give out a phone number and hide behind the enquiry system, which that they may or may not answer. I don't blame people ringing the merchant directly. Maybe this way the merchants will soon learn that they are becoming associated with a referring organisation that is not playing fair with its members.

Please note this months payments have been delayed a few days as we were waiting for payment on quite a few transactions. We felt it was better to get those all marked received and paid out to members rather than members having to wait until the next payment period. Direct bank payments (BACS) will be going out today (October 3rd) and PayPal will start shortly after. If you are currently not being paid with a direct bank payment then we’d recommend going into your settings and changing that as you will receive payment much quicker!

As they say, it's our cashback, yet they don't pay out - I've had mine rolled over for 3 months now and the note on their website doesn't fill me with confidence that it's going to be paid this month either. If they were that concerned about making sure the cash was paid out they would have paid those who are owed money and not give some excuse about waiting to receive payments. That's the whole idea with the different statuses surely, if it's received then the next one will be paid and not "waiting to see what else comes in before we make any payments"
Also if anyone changes their payment settings now on the strength of the Quidco note above then they will have to wait 10 days before any payment can be made which means they wont get anything until the end of October/early November.
Sorry but something doesn't smell right with all of this!0 -
I just had an email from Quidco asking me to change from paypal to BACS. It said that changing payment method would trigger a 10 day wait but if I emailed them back they would over ride the wait so I would get my money this month.Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.0

wonder why they don't want to pay people using Paypal...0

Hi, started Quidco this month and i have a total of £78.56 of which £44.05 is tracked and £34.51 validated. But I have not put my BACS information in yet.
I'm am putting this money toward our wedding (Augest 2008) so do not want to touch the money. Should I put my bacs information in now or can i put my bacs info say in Mar and then they pay me all of it in Feb? Has any had any problems not putting there BACS information in?0 -

I was initially doing a similar thing but entered my Bacs payments and just set a high minimum payout but have now decided to set it lower so that it goes into a separate account and I can get the interest on it.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -
