Can people living with you damage your credit rating?

Options
My 22 year old son has had to move back into my home due to unemployment and drug use. Trouble is he's given out my landline number to quick loan companies who keep ringing my number asking for him. I'm worried that this will damage my credit rating. Any advice appreciated!!

Not at all, files are attached to you not your address or anyone you live with.

I hope your son gets back on his feet soon :)

It will only damage you if any credit is in joint names, this can be current accounts, loans, mortgages or utility bills typically. As long as you dont have anything in joint names then the actions of one wont impact creditworthiness of the other
