sounds like you are well on your way
Well done! :T
As mentioned before getting your way to being debt free can be addictive. Its hard work but definateLy worth it

Am I right in thinking that the bank has consolidated 3 0% debts to a 10.9% loan??????????
How on EARTH have they got away with this?
If you cut your food drinks and fags down from £800 to £200 (which is what a lot of families of 4 are on) that £600 a month plus your new loan at £165 is £765 a month, so your debts could be gone in 6 months?!?!???Mummy to two girls, 4 & 1, been at home for four years, struggling to contend with the terrifying thought of returning to work.0 -
yeah thats what they did
my 0% overdraft was due to end this week hence moving it to the 10.9% loan i shoved the cash for the 2 credits cards that are 0% into an isa until my 0% period ends and will continue to pay the minimum and also pay any extra money that i come across between now and the 0% period ending.
thanks again tootsie:j0 -

Hi everyone thought i would update
well i have made some changes to original soa.
i have been off sick since july and an now on half pay so dropped around £600 a month in income,
however little cherubs are now paying £120 a month board into the kitty.
my electricity has dropped £20 per month with new supplier.
although i have shaved a whopping £2484.53 off my debts since i joined in july i feel i could be doing a lot lot better than i am.
the problem is we can comfortable afford out debt repayment and still have a decent lifestyle, smoking (both of us) drinking (oh) and eating out regularly (all of us) buying the odd thing that we fancy (but really dont need).
Don't get me wrong im not moaning (honest im not) and i know im in the enviable position of being able to do this its just that i feel 2.5k i have paid could so easily have been more if only i could have been bothered to put some effort in and cut back even just a little bit.
the bonus is i have done 99% of my crimbo shopping and i have savings untouched with ING so im off to do a new SOA and hang my head in shame

I feel the same, i can afford my debt, which can make paying it off really hard. especially when you are left with expendable income!

I agree that the eat, drinks and smokes needs to come down a little even a £50 - £100 would make so much of a difference.
You must have something to Ebay... Apparently people will buy anything! But I think like you I need to get my spending under control.
That'll be a good payment off you credit card though... Just think if you cut £100 of your spends then you could have that paid off my ChristmasCurrent debt - £16,300
