Return to a different address?

Do you think this sounds right?

I need to return an item that was not as described (size different to listing). I've been through the returns process and have printed of a pre-paid tracked label but the seller is now asking me to send the item to a different person at a different address.

I don't think this is right, not only will it mean I have to pay postage but I would imagine that I would lose my buyer protection if I send it elsewhere?

I got asked that. Not kitchen utensils is it?

I just sent it back the address registered on ebay.

Money was soon refunded. Just keep the tracking info.

    No, dance shoes.

I'll just send it to the address on the label then, it doesn't sit right not to.

You wouldn't believe the nightmare I've had with ebayers over the last month, 4 purchases, all not as described. I'm seriously falling out of love with ebay!

I'd send it to the address ebay gave you. Sellers are able to enter a different returns address on their account so they need to do that if they want it sent elsewhere!
