n power nest thermostat

hi all first post on here, I received an e mail from n power yesterday about there nest thermostat at no extra cost but on checking if I was eligible it seems that the cost of having it installed is added on to your bill so its not free after all and actually makes it a lot more expensive so I contacted them and am waiting there reply but was wondering how can I get martin to check this out look's like a good offer until you check it out

What law are they breaking can I ask? I personally don't know about this offer so a few more details would be appreciated.

If they offer the thermostat as a reward for signing up to a certain tariff, how is this breaking the law? Yes, the unit prices on that tariff may be higher, but do they explicitly say "This is the cheapest tariff we have and you get a free thermostat" and the information is incorrect?
  • ok here is what they quoted with nest£93.71 a month £112.53 a yr £184 increase on current, fixed online till april 2016 375.87 a mth £910.48 a yr£29.26 saving ,price fixtill feb 2017 £86.95 mth £1043.45 yr £103.71increase, std variable£96.61 a mth£1159.36 a yr £219.62 increase the nest thermostat is worth £249 wich includes fitting if suitable if not extra cost to install the cost of the nest thermostat is £170 so work it out its just another way to get more money out of us all why can we not just have 1 tarrif for all much simpler
