It looks like both the Chancellor and FCA don't have more important things to do...
I'll be surprised if FCA after a year of hard work discover that 2 days can make real difference and "deliver significant benefits to consumers".

Re Gocompare, personally I will never use them on principle. They have been poisoning TV for far too long.

2 days won't make any difference at all. Review not needed.

The one thing that should be reviewed IMO is that the switching system should also cover savings accounts.
Currently you have to arrange closure of a savings account yourself (apart from ISA's).

Wow that makes all the difference. I've been waiting years for it to take 5 days not 7.

I am still holding out for a 24-hour (on a 24x7 basis) switch guarantee. I won't settle for a shoddy 5-day service, pah. Them banks need to feel consuma powa.
