Just spoke to customer relations at Ideal world and when she bought my account up on screen it showed her that I had only phoned once which was yesterday 26th,gave her all the dates and peoples names i had spoken to in INDIA and reply was we are a different department but your refund was granted on the 24th,in all she just wasn't intrested.
When I phoned Trading Standards reply from them was they are being investigated as we speak.Just hope something gets sorted but I won't be using them again.

Had to call their CS(???) yesterday and the alternative number just kept ringing without answer, I wonder if they've got wise to this? Unfortunately had to call the premium rate, on hold for 10 minutes then spent a further 5 minutes to no avail talking, or trying, to a rep in India who didn't have a clue.
Ordered an item two weeks ago which hasn't been delivered yet, told it is usually 5 to 17 working days for delivery - WHAT! -and to give it a few more days.
This morning my credit card has been refunded the order amount so I presume the order has been cancelled, that's fine Ideal World, don't expect any more.
prwmotors - what are they being investigated for? they don't deserve to be in business!

Ideal World are being investigated for their underhand tactics,ie taking money from peoples accounts and taking months to pay it back.Their website always crashes and people are forced to call the 0871 number, they ignore emails,i could go on they are a total shambles and are nothing more than a market stall shopping channel. If you value your sanity steer clear.Check out www.shoppingtelly.com and click on forums, that will take you to the reality of Ideal World, where members post their comments about this channel.
  • I've just settled one dispute with Ideal World via my credit card company, I have another going on, they NEVER return your calls and their so called customer services in India is anything but, they give contradicting information each time you call and when you tell them your rights from Trading Standards they then change their story, I always follow up my phone call with an email to them, I notice on one site there are two email contacts which include the cheif exec so I copy him in as well, not that it does much good though. lesson learned, I will never deal with them again although trying to get it through to the other half who always thinks they 'deserve one more chance' is another thing.

    email addresses are:

    Cheif Executive

This is the only reason I use PriceDrop.tv. Been ordering from them for years, never had a problem and always deliver within their stated '7 days' ;)

  • As an update to my last post, have just spoken with CS again, this time they are blaming their supplier, I did offer to call the supplier myself but they declined this. I raised the question about compensation which is being passed to their supervisor and a reply will be forthcoming although I won't hold my breath, the only ray of light is when I mentioned call charges to their 0870 numbers, he did say that if I sent the copy of my phone bill into CS at Peterborough they would refund me - maybe others should try this too.

I did find it hard not to start laughing at his reply when I suggested that IW might like to put the money back on my card until I'm happy with the outcome. :rotfl:

Last issue was postage they did not refund to me with another refund, I mentioned this (at the end of a 29 min call and he agreed to refund it) again will have to watch my account as he may have just agreed to get rid of me. I don't know about anyone else but I'm finding it
