What are you buying/selling?
Are you a business or private seller?
Do you have access to Google?.0 -
Local Facebook pages.
Cash, no fees, fairly good local reach.
There's always Gumtree too but that's not auction.0 -

Realistically any online site will have the same issues due to the remote nature of the sale or purchase. I buy a lot from Amazon, but I am content that I am as safe buying on ebay as I am on Amazon.
I don't believe online buying and selling is for everyone though, so if you prefer not to chance it then look at face book selling, or even local small ads -next year you could also consider car boot sales . It really all does depend though on what you are selling.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Pretty soon Alibaba will take over the world (and Ali Express). But that's just for buying.
My experiences with Ali Express have been amazingly positive, including several "how the hell do they get raw materials, labour and tools to make that thing, AND post it, for that amount?"
I realise I wouldn't like the answer.0 -
