Thanks for your replies... But what's the best solution?
Upgrade my phone package so I can stream ( I currently have cheap contract with low data allowance)
    Get better FM aerial fitted?

Does the station you wish to listen to actually transmit in the areas where you will be driving (on FM/DAB/Internet)?

Edit - just checked and I can listen to it on my phone no problem.

At home record the show you'd normally listen to, play it back a day later in the car :)

You'll always be one day behind, but at least you'll get to listen to it without any breaks in signal.

Audacity will record anything your soundcard is playing, if you select the loopback mode, (turn the system sounds off ;)) this converts to analogue and back to digital. Export as an mp3 file.

Otherwise soundleech will grab streams as a WAV, that audacity will edit and convert to mp3 for you. I can't get soundleech to work on WIN7 though :(

I record Terry Wogan on a Sunday, and the Bob Harris Show, then play them on the way to & from work, so I don't have to listen to innane DJs.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))
