Hiya, loads of variety to try - https://www.pinterest.com/markbedlam/fairground-artsignwriting/ for some inspiration! As they went on a lot of different rides and events there's a real spread, but attractive panels for interior design are less common as they're in demand and 'genuine' ones are worn and weathered and only enter the market once knackered as they're working items!!

Referral schemes - Percy is probably suggesting you effectively just give a commission on sales - someone introduces you to a client, you give them a commission of (say) 5-10%
  • Thanks for that link Paddy. Looks great. Will add that to my homework page and hopefully get involved. That's the problem there is just so much I could get involved with and you have added something else. Also, my kids will love painting with me. Not long ago I plotted a design with my daughter's name with decor above and under. I then placed the drawing under glass got some poster paint and started it for her. Her first reply was oh Dad, how'd you do that. I just said practise practise and more practise. It was'nt even that great in my eyes but to her it was brilliant. I feel so guilty for being so lazy and unconfident.

Will let you know how I get on.

    Thanks again for that link

In my case the referral scheme is if they recommend me and the person books and pays then referrer then gets a discount on there next booking.

Just thinking aloud LFW, really. There may be other high margin markets that are undersupplied due to lack of skills, so just take it for what it is... the seed of a thought :)

If you do experiment with those style of designs, the hallmark "flamboyant" paint seems to be a two-stage affair of silver and cookies lacquer layer but looks great :)
