Aldi's Magnum Premium - Best Washing-up Liquid Ever!

Hi guys,

Just a quick heads-up to give the Magnum Premium a go if you're an Aldi shopper.

It's incredible. Might be tempting to get the bigger bottle of normal Magnum for a quid but, trust me, it's worth paying a bit more for premium (and I'm normally a right cheap-skate who would never say that).

Bought 2 bottles and I've still got about 80% of the first bottle left after a couple of weeks use! It's the thickest liquid I've ever used and a tiny blob produces loads of suds and cleans everything I've thrown at it so far.

I've tried just about every washing-up liquid going over the past few years including all the usual brands and just about every shops own-label ones and this is the best one I've had by some margin. Better than Fairy and about half the price, I can't recommend it highly enough.

I actually found it to be quite thin and runny so a lot of it came running out and I went through it fairly quickly.
I tend to be fairy when its on offer, which at the moment, its in Lidl for 99p.

Same here, I also found the bottle weak and slippery to hold . Fairy every time for me.

My father in law insists on going to Aldi.Mother in law complains, says they only do it in green, and she wants a change. Started getting her some from Asda. Funnily enough, I never buy green washing up liquid, in any brand.
  • Fairy is always number 1.

However Magnum Premium from Aldi's is very close #2. The thinner one etc is not the bigger standard one etc.
    PK! :money:

Either you were using the standard Magnum or I've got a "duff" bottle then. This stuff ain't runny at all. It's actually gunked up the top a few times as it's so thick and I've even diluted it with a touch of water.

Are you sure? I seem to remember reading, in this forum, that which originally announced aldi as the winner, then later said that they had used the wrong bottle of Fairy. They did the test again and Fairy won.

Can you post link to the Which page that says Aldi won. Of course, if it is the page that was later retracted you will look stupid

    Really? D'oh!!

In which (Which?) case, I guess I look stupid.

Though I would argue that testing "the wrong bottle of Fairy" makes Which? Magazine look even stupider.

Regardless, I'm right and you're wrong. This is how the internet works.
