No this is the first ever time i have redeemed the rewards after reading last years thread(started usuing my vegas jan this year)
The email i put in the box for redeeming is the email i use for my emails and is the only email i have and its the one i have for facebook,thus myvegas.
how inportant is the email part?
as i have said I can get the code thing via myvegas, my purchases by clicking on the rewards.
any help most apprecaited and thank you for reading

They don't always send confirmation emails. I've always had them but I know others haven't. I've seen this mentioned quite a bit on a couple of the Facebook groups in the last week so possibly this is a new thing? As has been said, you only need the confirmation number so you'll be fine. Even if you'd put the wrong email address and by some insane coincidence the confirmation went to someone else who's in Vegas at the same time as you, they couldn't redeem it without your Mlife card

I also think you're fine with the code. I printed the emails but it's the code they use to do the redemption onto your card, which you then use at the buffet. Why not write all your codes down, just in case there are any issues with your mobile. I had the emails, but I also had all the codes written in the back of my LVA coupon book, which I knew I'd have with me all the time.

This reminds me... They've been mailing me a 30% one for a few days because they "miss me". Hadn't mentioned it as not sure it will work, but people are welcome to try it:

just trying to get everything sorted at the moment,. but thanks again for your feedback

and thanks also to lesley74. ive got the habbit of writing alot of things down for our trip(things to do, walking distance's if there close to one another etc) and i was going to write down the codes for the rewards, will defo do it now!!

Do you use the mobile app? You can just use the wallet on that to show your rewards. All MLife properties have free wifi to use in the casinos. You just have to log on with your email address to use it.

Just writing the code down works too. We hardly ever bother with the email printout.

we print our MyVegas rewards (or we have done as we have had emails historically, sounds like that may change) and also have the numbers on our Excel planner (which we also print) but because all MGM properties have free wifi it's easy enough to pull up the confirmation number if it's needed.

Thanks for that. Wouldn't work for me so might just be usable on specific accounts. Always worth a try though!
