G24 Parking Notice

Hi,
I need some advice pls... Iv read your posts and think iv completely confused myself
Parked at a local retail park, didn't realise there was a time restriction 3hrs got held up at a mother care photo shoot, (they were running late) with my daughter then viewing photo's
Received a parking notice for £70 or £42 if paid in 14 days.
I am outraged by this fine as i was a customer of the retail park for the duration on my car park stay.
Should i appeal and send evidence thats where i was, i.e. ask mothercare to confirm this and send a receipt i have or appeal with a standard template....
Please help me, really not happy and don't want to pay
Thanks in advance

It is not a fine.
Please read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES that tells you everything you need to know on how to beat this and pay nothing.
Was this in England/Wales as advice for Scotland/NI is different, as is advice if it was a lease/hire car?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Also, might be worth getting pics of signage before G24 change it. They recently changed from the BPA to the IPC. The IPC will uphold appeals on GPEOL if the old signage is there (based on past experience, but before they went awol)Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0

Clearly, three hours is insufficient time to conduct one's shopping.
You should therefore bring this to the attention of all retail outlets in the complex and especially the Managing Agents. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
