How do you insert a link to a previous thread? I wanted to do that!

If you open the page you want then highlight in the address bar, click copy, then go to post in thread you want and click paste, the link will be inserted, thats if you use IE, if using firefox, you do all the same only when you want to paste the link to another thread then you need to press control & V

i hope that makes sense  :D

That's annoying. All the search brought up was a thread on the referrers board. It's a vbulletin quirk - the techies are working on how to sort it.

Thanks for merging them rush :)

Amongst the hundreds of artists you've never heard of, there is the new Bloc Party album (if you're into them).

I posted about eMusic, about a year ago. A lot of their stuff is obscure, but there is some reasonably well-known stuff hidden away. For instance, Steve Earle, Teenage Fanclub, Big Star, Laura Cantrell, Brendan Benson, The Go-Betweens, Jesse Malin.

The problem for them is that they don't have enough good stuff for it to be worth joining up for a monthly subscription. I found 50 free tracks meant I already had what I wanted, out of their range.

They emailed me a few months ago, inviting me to have another 50 free tracks, if I renewed my membership. I did so, then promptly cancelled, again.

  • Between members of my immediate family we have 6 credit cards so I have managed to get 300 free mp3s. :D

Saved well over £100 on albums I've been really wanting for ages but couldn't afford. And as there's still loads of stuff on there I want I'm seriously considering subscribing. $19.99 per month for 90 tracks is pretty good, IMO.

I don't know what the selection was like a year ago, but it's great now, particularly if you're into alternative, electronic and indie music.
