Well, I actually managed to do something useful last night! Friend came round for a shower and we put 2 loads of washing through. Then we went out to drink beer.
I'm in Quedgeley at the moment and I've just seen an army tanker filling a bowser. On the way in I saw a Bristol water tanker.Happy chappy0 -
The last of my visitors for today left at 6 o'clock so thought I'd just post quickly before I get on with my ironing etc to say that I have been quite overwhelmed by all the lovely comments. Thank you all!
Great news that some water is being turned on (even it's not suitable for drinking)
My thoughts are still with all of those poor people who have been affected by these awful floods - especially the poor lady I heard complaining bitterly in Tescos at the checkout last night about her not being able to have her acrylic nails done at the nail salon in Port Street, Evesham as it's closed due to flooding! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Some people really do have problems!!!Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j
