ParkingEye Appeal WON - Weymouth Old town West

Massive thanks to the sticky on the front of this page detailing an appeal letter. I used most of the content, and paraphrased a little after receiving a charge from the ParkingEye cowboys using their number plate camera's at the Weymouth Old Town West Car Park.
I did overstay (and so wasn't completely innocent) but refuse to pay £100 for a short overstay in a deserted car park late at night.
Was looking forward to the fight but received two letters from them today - one advising they'd cancelled the charge, and another rejecting the invoice I sent them for my time, and costs !!!
It just goes to show NEVER just pay something without at least appealing. Kudos to MSE forums, you wonderful community

Yep people often get those 2 letters - it's because the first appeal letter includes a suggestion you would claim for your time and costs - and PE reject it just to cover their back, even when cancelling a case.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
