Digital TVs - how much power do they use?

I'm not sure you'd save money by doing this as the difference in power usage won't be enough to offset the cost of the new tv. Also some would say plasmas produce a better picture than LCD - that's all down to personal opinion of course.

My 60" Sam Plasma uses 125W, the same as my 40" LCD, its not power consumption that is the reason for them being discontinued, its the fact that they cant be made in 4K that cheaply compared with LED.
