Tax credits complaints

Is there a different number to go through to people who deal with complaints rather than going via the frontline staff at all? Our issue blatantly can't be resolved by these staff and I'm not sure they are escalating it like they should so wanted to speak to either some supervisor/management or realistically someone from their technical side as I beleive our issue to be a systems one.

We've been ringinig since September last year with regards to this problem including 2 or 3 letters sent in but still its unresolved, come this September, the lovely tax credit office are going to leave us ripe for some identity fraud by sending all our details to the wrong address.

You won't get a number given for complaints from the staff - if they did, the number would quickly get onto forums like this and before you knew it thousands and thousands of people would be phoning it.

when i sent in a complaint/appeal i got a letter back from tax credits, with a phone number of the lady dealing with my claim, which meant i could speak to her direct..
did not make no difference to my claim as my appeal was still granted in their favour and i had to pay money back
