SSE doorstep mis-selling claim

Just discovered after helping a relative switch energy suppliers that they signed up to Scottish Hydro on the doorstep a few years ago.
I am concerned that they were convinced to sign up despite it perhaps not being the best deal and I am aware that a while back SSE set aside money for compensation relating to this.
Can anyone tell me if it is still possible to claim?
