Guys, the coolant light came on briefly, this indicates it's only just about at the minimum level. If this is the case, then OP probably never opens to bonnet and it might have been years since it was last topped up.
It's not an indication of a catastrophic failure.
OP, top up the coolant, if it happens again within the next 6 months, then go get it looked at.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
